Hi Everyone who attended the first muso night at The Old Canberra Inn last night.
I hope it was a good night for everyone.
Well done to Christian for organising the night and we look forward to seeing you all there again in two weeks, Tues 2nd Sept.
We are sorting out a "house band" who can then do the backing for solo artists.
If you have any ideas please post them on here for discussion, as remember it is your night and we want to make this a resounding success.

Keith & Crew,
Thanks for a great night. Those young blokes (third act I think) showed great potential I thought. Looking forward to the next session - and some guitar stands for those "slippery critters".
Well done blokes! |

|
|
Thanks Mick, yeah some channel switching pedals would have been good for the amps as well...lol
Next muso's night the house band are learning three Santana numbers, but we need some percussion players. We can supply conga's, maracas etc and we also want another guitarist to help out. The three songs are Black Magic Woman, Evil Ways and Oya Coma Va.
Each fortnight we will have a different theme for a certain style or band.(Pink Floyd soon) |

| Can a rock/metal band show up and do some stuff, or is this another one of those lame blues/acoustic only nights? |

Hi ButcherBoy, great to see your interest in our Muso's night.
Yes we would love to see a metal band turn up and play, as we bring in the best metal amps in the world LABOGA, you should come and try one out. Also we have a great PA so you will enjoy playing. |

|
|
Our new Drumkit has arrived for the muso night, it's a full maple kit with new cymbals. Sonic Drive and Kahzan Cymbals have helped out here.
Also I would like to thank Quest Engineering for supplying the great sounding monitors and power amp.....No wonder Kevin's singing so well..... |
